Hey everyone! I wanted to start this year by writing about something I adore, and the first thing that crossed my mind was the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy. This is by far the most expensive lipstick I own, but I love it and use it so much, therefore I can justify its price in my mind.

Can we just take a moment to stare at the gorgeous packaging? You can really tell it's Chanel, such a sleek, elegant packaging with the golden detailing. The lipstick itself smells like roses, although I don't really like the rose scent, this is such a light scent that's really pleasant.

This lipstick has a twist-up bullet, and there's quite a bit of product. Rouge Coco Shine line consists of sheer lipsticks that leave a gloss like finish to your lips, but they are really light and don't feel sticky and heavy like a gloss at all. They are some of the softest, creamiest, most hydrating, lightest lip products I've ever come across and they just glide on the lips. As they have sheer coverage, they are so easy to apply, you don't even need a mirror. As far as the staying power goes, these won't last you hours and hours as they're not full-on opaque lip products, but this lasts me around 3-4 hours which is enough for me, I don't really mind re-applying it through the day.

This rosy pink shade looks gorgeous on the lips. It's such a perfect "my lips but better" shade, it just enhances the look of your lips, gives them a natural pink flush, some sheen, and a more plump look. This would suit any makeup look, and it's great both for daily use and toning down the intense night time looks. This lipstick is a favourite of many makeup artists, celebrities, bloggers and it's easy to understand why, it would suit anyone and everyone and it has such an amazing quality.

Despite its crazy price, this is the only makeup product I would instantly repurchase when I get close to finishing it. If you want to splurge on a good everyday lipstick or want to buy a nice gift for someone who likes makeup, this would be great. See you soon!
